Notes: This piece has also been associated with the Mold Book number A-162. A-204, the only number which has appeared on the order forms, is apparently a more detailed revision, by Helen Perrin Farnlund, of Don Winton’s A-162. The 1952-55 pieces are the earlier mold. Note the smooth plates on the shells of the pieces with metallic gold, and the greater detailing of the later ones.
The mold was slightly revised in 1989. The neck and legs were shortened and the size reduced overall; see photo.
